Women’s rights enshrined in the constitution are called for to be implemented

A discussion forum was held to ensure that women’s rights enshrined in the constitution are fully implemented and that women’s agendas are given attention The dialogue coalition for women’s voices is with multi-sectoral actors and women’s representatives from the lower classes of society. The coalition has reached out to more than 6,122 women’s community representatives in 10 regions and two city administrations and has collected more than 2,700 agendas. This dialogue workshop is said to have aimed to create dialogue and collaboration between policy makers, policy implementers, women’s rights organizations and women from the communities from the regions, woredas and zones.
