የማእከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የሴቶች ምክክር አቅም ግንባታ ማስጀመሪያ የውይይት መርሐ ግብር ተካሄደ

ጥምረት ለሴቶች ድምፅ በሀገራዊ ምክክር መድረክ በማእከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የሴቶች ምክክሮች አቅም ግንባታ ማስጀመሪያ የውይይት መርሐ ግብር ሐምሌ 23 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም በሆሳዕና ከተማ አካሄደ።

የጥምረቱ የውትወታ ባለሞያ የኾነችው አቢሲያ አቦነህ መርሐ ግብሩን ከክልሉ የተለያዩ ቢሮዎች እና ጽ/ቤቶች ለተወከሉ ተሳታፊዎች አስተዋውቃለች።

ይኽንን ተከትሎ የክልሉ ሴቶች እና ሕፃናት ቢሮ ሓላፊ አማካሪ ወ/ሮ መንደሪን ጌታሁን መርሐ ግብሩን በእንኳን ደኅና መጣችኹ የከፈቱት ሲኾን፣ በንግግራቸውም ሴቶች ከሀገሪቱ ሕዝብ ቁጥር 50 በመቶ በላይ መኾናቸውን ጠቅሰው፣ ያለ ሴቶች ተሳትፎ ማንኛውንም ነገር ማሳካት እንደማይቻል ይኽም ሴቶች በቤተሰብ ከመምራት ጀምሮ ዓለምን ማስተዳደር ድረስ ሚና ስላላቸው በሀገራዊ ምክክር ሂደት ውስጥ ንቁ ተሳትፎ በማድረግ የሀገረ መንግሥት ግንባታው እውን እንዲኾን ሚናቸውን እንዲወጡ ጥምረቱ ይኽንን መሰል የአቅም ግንባታ መድረክ ማዘጋጀቱ ጠቃሚ ነው ብለዋል።

አክለውም አካታች ሀገራዊ ምክክር ማድረግ ተቀራርቦ ለመሥራት እና ውጤት ለማምጣት ጉልህ አስተዋጽኦ እንደሚያበረክት ጠቁመው፣ ሴቶች ግጭትን በማስወገድ ሰላምን በማስፈን ሂደት ውስጥ ተገቢ ውክልና አግኝተው የራሳቸውን ሚና እንዲጫወቱ ብሎም በሀገሪቱ መጻኢ እድል ወሳኝ እንዲኾኑ ይኽን መሰል ሥልጠና መዘጋጀቱ ተገቢ መኾኑን ጠቅሰዋል።

በመቀጠል የጥምረቱ ፕሮጀክት አስተባባሪ አቶ አስቻለው ማቴዎስ ጥምረቱ ከሁለት ዓመታት በፊት የተቋቋመበት ዓላማ ሴቶች በሀገራዊ ምክክር ሂደት ውስጥ ተገቢ ውክልና እንዲኖራቸው ለማስቻል መኾኑን ተናግረዋል።

ጥምረት ለሴቶች ድምፅ በማእከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል ለሚያካሂደው የሴቶች ምክክር የገንዘብ ድጋፍ ያደረገው ፍሬደሪክ ኤቨርት ስቲፍተንግ የኢትዮጵያ ቅርንጫፍ አማካሪ የኾኑት አቶ መንገሻ ኃይለመለኮት በበኩላቸው፣ ሰላማዊ በኾነው ማእከላዊ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የሴቶች ምክክር አቅም ግንባታ መድረኮችን በመደገፋቸው ደስታ እንደሚሰማቸው ገልጸው፣ ተቋማቸው ከተለያዩ መንግሥታዊ፣ መንግሥታዊ ያልኾኑ ድርጅቶች፣ የሐሳብ አፍላቂ ተቋማት እና የሴቶች ጉዳይ ተኮር ሲቪክ ማኅበራትን ለማጠናከር በአጋርነት እንደሚሠራ ጠቅሰዋል።

ይኽንን ተከትሎ ከተሳታፊዎች በሀገራዊ ምክክር ሂደት ውስጥ የሴቶች ተሳትፎ፣ የምክክር አካታችነት እና ተያያዥ ጥያቄዎች ተነሥተው የጥምረቱ ፕሮጀክት አስተባባሪ ምላሽ ሰጥተው መርሐ ግብሩ ተጠናቅቋል።

CER Women’s consultation capacity building launching workshop takes place

The Coalition for Women’s Voice in the National Dialogue organized Central Ethiopia Region (CER) Women’s consultations capacity building launching workshop on July 30, 2024, G.C. at Hosaena town.

The Coalition Advocacy Officer, Abysia Aboneh, introduced the program to participants who represent different bureaus and offices in the region.

Then Mrs. Menderin Getahun, CER Women and Children Bureau Head Advisor, opened the event and said women comprised more than half of the total nation’s population thus without their participation we can achieve nothing. Since women play a leadership role beginning at home to global arena; thus the Coalition capacity building program is vital in supporting women’s active participation in the Ethiopian national dialogue process to play their role in the nation building process.

She noted inclusive national dialogue is a key to work together and achieve goals; to do so women should have a definite role to deter conflict and bring peace thus such training is important to them to have a say about the fate of the nation.    

Mr. Aschalew Mathewos, the Coalition Project Coordinator, briefed the Coalition established two years ago to ensure women’s meaningful participation in the national dialogue process.

The Coalition CER women’s capacity building program donor, Frederik Ebert Stiftung/FES-Ethiopia, Advisor Mr. Mengasha HaileMelokot, expressed his pleasure for supporting women’s capacity building consultations in a relatively peaceful region and shared some point about FES activities in Ethiopia including supporting the country’s capacity building programs by working in partnership with governmental, non-governmental, think tanks and women focused CSOs.

Following this a question-and-answer session was held and issues related with women’s participation, inclusiveness and others raised and after the project manager reflection the program become concluded.
