TIMRAN successfully concluded the Gender Responsive Justice System training

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our recent training on the Gender Responsive Justice System, held on August 29 and 30, 2025 under the project “Facilitating Access to Justice for Women Politicians in the City Administration of Addis Ababa, and Holeta and Sendafa Sub-cities of Sheger City (Oromia Region)” by the support of Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa (SIHA Network).

The training session was focused on developing a Gender Responsive Justice system, specifically addressing legal protection for women politicians, which will foster discussions among different stakeholders, including legal professionals, representatives of women rights organizations, legal aid and one stop centers. Participants are equipped with an in-depth knowledge of gender sensitive laws, legal rights, administration of justice, and advocacy strategies to support women in political roles. 

The insights and engagement from participants made a significant impact, and we look forward to the positive changes that will follow. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this important initiative. Together, we are paving the way for a more inclusive and equitable political landscape!
