TIMRAN inaugurated a new office at Abala, Afar Regional State

From January 22–23, 2026, TIMRAN, under the FCDO funded project dubbed “Women’s Leadership in Emergencies (WLiE)” conducted women’s leadership training sessions to strengthen women’s capacity in thought articulation, advocacy, communication, and conflict resolution skills in Abala and Erebti.

The initiative reinforces TIMRAN’s continued commitment to empower women leaders at community level, particularly in emergency-affected settings. The training emphasized participatory and inclusive approaches, reinforcing women’s confidence, voice, and collective action in addressing local challenges.
